The Cornet Vincent Ségurel law firm announces a partnership with the innovative Legal Tech company, Ziplo, to provide a digital proof service on its website.

Incubated within H7, a startup accelerator in Lyon, Ziplo is a sovereign service that allows its users to deposit their files, in order to create evidence to establish a precedence.

Ziplo uses two mechanisms to obtain a qualified timestamp of its deposits: via a trusted third party (eIDAS certified) and via a blockchain transaction. Ziplo's strength, by significantly reducing the cost of evidence creation and simplifying it as much as possible, is to allow companies to regularly deposit their creations to protect their expertise and intellectual property.

For Cornet Vincent Ségurel, this partnership is an opportunity to offer its clients a new innovative service to strengthen the protection of their creations and innovations.

"This partnership with Ziplo aligns with our modern and pragmatic approach to law," comments Luc-Marie Augagneur, partner lawyer at Cornet Vincent Ségurel. "For us, intellectual property should be considered holistically, even outside property titles."

"This service, directly accessible on our website, allows us to offer our clients a new way to maintain traceability of their entire creative process and to provide sufficient evidence quality if needed to establish precedence," adds François Herpe, partner lawyer at Cornet Vincent Ségurel.

"It's a privilege for Ziplo to be adopted and promoted by a well-recognized firm like Cornet Vincent Ségurel," says Aurélie Drouvin, president of Ziplo. "This partnership follows our regular exchanges with Maître Augagneur for over a year, so we are delighted to offer this service to both the firm's lawyers and its clients."
